vDiff license update guide

(1) When you first installed vDiff. (2) When your license is updated (for example, the llicense is upgraded and/or the expiration date extended) and you are instructed to do so.
Usually you see #EXPIRED in the license line. See web UI > System info > System information.
There are two ways to update the license. On-line or off-line. If the vDiff has Internet access, use on-line update. Otherwise, use off-line update.

Web UI > Tools > System > On-line update section.
Click "Run" in the "Request update" block. Wait for a moment and you see a message "200 OK. Please check email."
Check your registered email and you find a new mail with subject "Respone to vDiff update request". You are given three update codes and three update urls. The one we need here is the license code, which is 20 digits of hexdecimal. Copy and paste it to the vdiff UI at the "Update with code" block and click "Run."
You should see some message that begins with "200 License updated successfully." and some more about whether you need to reboot vdiff or not.
In this case, we need a reboot. Click "Back" and click "Reboot" in the "Reboot" block.

Web UI > Tools > System > Off-line update section.
Click "Run" in the "Download session file" block. A session file named session.<sn>.bin is saved, where <sn> is the serial number of the vdiff.
Click "Link" in "Process session file" block. You are directed to a new page "vDiff update request."
Now upload the session file. (1) Click "Browse" and select the session file. (2) Click "Run."
You see a message "200 OK. Please check email."
Check your registered email and you find a new mail with subject "Respone to vDiff update request". You are given three update codes and three update urls. The one we need here is the license url, which looks like

where <code> is 20 digits of hexdecimal.
Click the url and you get a file named "update.bin". Save it.
Go back to vdiff web UI and locate the "Upload update file" block.
(1) Click "Browse" and select "update.bin" file. (2) Click "Run" and confirm in the dialog box.
You see some message that begins with "200 License updated successfully." and some more about whether you need to reboot vdiff or not.
In our case, we need a reboot. Click "Back" and click "Reboot" in the "Reboot" block.

Web UI > View > System info > System information.
Check the following: (1) Model is "vDiff VDA100" or something looks good, not "vDiff VDAxxx." (2) License is Base, not None. (3) The expiration date is good. In the case of trial, its around 30 days after. (4) No #EXPIRED or anything that start with a #.
